Cody's Run is a 5k dedicated to helping the Stephenson Cancer Center and Oklahoma Cancer Patients.
Cody may have lost his battle against cancer in November 2013, but he hoped his experiences would inform the larger fight to eradicate cancer. Cody specifically chose treatment and care at the Stephenson Cancer Center at The University of Oklahoma because he found their research teams and medical professionals were among the best in the country for his treatment. Proceeds from this year’s run will go directly to the Cody Ponder Emergency Endowment Fund established through The University of Oklahoma Foundation to benefit patients at OU’s Stephenson Cancer Center.

5K: 8:30 a.m.
1 Mile: 8:40 a.m.
OU’s CART office along with friends and family of the late Cody Ponder are honored to host the 5th annual Cody’s Run in Norman, OK, April 22, 2017. To date, Cody's run has aided multiple families with daily necessities to help offset the heavy financial burden of cancer.
Cody’s Run consists of a 5K Race and 1-mile Fun Walk at The University of Oklahoma's Norman campus. Cody proudly called Norman home and was actively involved through several non-profits and city committees. We encourage as many individuals, organizations and companies to get involved in this effort by sponsoring or taking part in our annual event. Our goal for 2017 is to raise at least $15,000 and we encourage people to start giving today!
